Crusty Demons West Coast and Capital City Tour May – June 2007
The system design for West coast tour incorporated good coverage of the ovals and the speed of the setup and pack-down. We designed the stacks to go on 4 x 4 riser bases with attachable legs. The 4 x Nexo boxes were strapped to the riser and travelled on the riser. A pre-packaged pa stack! We simply used a forklift from the truck attached the legs and placed on the ground ready to go. For these reasons JAS supplied just one audio technician for the tour.
Audio technician: Conor Dunne
The Capital city was indoors and therefore required a different approach. The brief was simple. We want to fly the system inside the main lighting truss system and not be in the way of the bikes. 6 hangs of 6 x Vdosc was the outcome and 12 subs on the ground. We also flew the amplifiers racks in a central position on each side.
A good all-round result!
