The Living End Tour June 2006
The Living End took to the road in May 2006 playing shows at the Hordern, Melbourne Festival Hall. The Thebarton Theatre and the Brisbane Convention Centre. The sell-out tour was proof that local acts can compete with international acts at this level.
Johnston Audio has enjoyed a long relationship with The Living End and was given the brief for this tour to supply a system that “rocked” and provided full audio coverage throughout the venues and was compact, quick to set up and pull down and took minimal truck space.
Johnston Audio supplied a Nexo Alpha system with Nexo PS 15 monitor rig. The Living End’s Jim Scott operated at FOH with a Midas XL4 console and Johnston Audio’s Saul Skouterides operated monitors on a Midas XL3. Johnston Audio’s system rigger on tour was Brent Gray.
