Hi Fi System Upgrade

The in-house system at Melbourne’s Hi Fi Bar has been upgraded!

The old Yamaha PM3000 FOH console has been replaced with a new Soundcraft MH-3 48 channel (40 mono & 4 stereo) console. The MH-3 has 8 VCA’s and 12 auxiliaries.

The monitor system has been upgraded with the introduction of Wayloud wedges. The Wayloud wedge has long been an integral part of the Johnston Audio hire inventory.

The FOH amp racks have been worked over and now have QSC PL236 amps powering the flown Meyer MSL-3 cabinets. QSC MX3000 provide the power for the Meyer R 650 subs.

The lighting rig has had 8 extra Par 64 cans added, as well as 4 x profiles. The lighting console has been replaced with an LSC Maxim 24/48 console.
