News - Splendour in the Grass goes Nexo

Splendour in the Grass, to be held in the beautiful surrounds of Byron Bay, has become Australia's hottest winter event, selling out weeks prior to the event. This year the festival features headliners Powderfinger and Coldplay, plus a huge lineup including Placebo, The Living End, Goldfrapp, Death in Vegas, Something for Kate, John Butler Trio, The Music, Superjesus, Magic Dirt, Jet, Alpine Stars and much more!

Johnston Audio has been appointed as the audio supplier for Splendour in the Grass. Johnston Audio has a proven record at Big Day Out, Homebake and Livid and its can-do approach to festival production demands and great crew attitude have long brought great results.

The main stage system is 24 stacks of Nexo Alpha, a Nexo PS15 monitor rig and Midas Heritage consoles. The Mix Up tent system is Martin Wavefront with Wayloud monitors and Midas XL 200 and 250 consoles.
