Johnston Audio Services provided audio production for the Good Vibrations Festival at the Sidney Myer Music Bowl, Melbourne.
The Festival ran over 4 stages. The main stage featured live acts - Moloko, Nitin Sawheny, Crazy Penis, Freeland, Mr Jigga and leading DJ's such as Tom Middleton and Ransom.
The system for the main stage included 24 x Nexo Geo-T 4805 cabinets, 6 x Nexo Geo-T 2815 cabinets and 12 Nexo Alpha S2 subs, all powered by Camco Vortex 6 amplifiers.
Monitors included 16 x Nexo PS15 wedges and Nexo Alpha E sidefill. Consoles were a Yamaha PM4000 on FOH and a Midas Heritage 3000 on monitors.
The Festivals' second (Roots) stage featured hip-hop artists including Gangstarr, Blackalicious, Asian Dub Foundation, Soul II Soul and Lee Scratch Perry. A Nexo Alpha system with Midas XL3 and Soundcraft SM12 consoles and Wayloud wedges was in place. The Good Vibrations Stage (International DJ's) had a Martin Wavefront System, powered by QSC amps. The fourth stage - "The Cocktail Tent" had Nexo PS15s and JAS subs.
Festival Production Manager was Rob Miles with Steph Popoff as Stage Manager.
